Melissa Phillips is the founder and executive director of Alchemy Arts. As an actor, dancer, singer, and director she experienced the benefits of the arts and wanted to create opportunities for everyone to experience theater. An NYC native and first-generation American, she was exposed to the many sights, sounds, and experiences of being the "other". With a background in digital communications, she saw an avenue for building self-awareness through art. Melissa is dedicated to creating global citizens with respect for all creation through art.
